Hack # 1: Speed Up Your Phone Charger
Tired of waiting for your battery to charge? With this iPhone hack, your waiting time could be cut down drastically. By engaging the airplane mode, you can take a huge strain off your battery while it’s being charged.
Because airplane mode turns off all radio frequencies on your iPhone, including Wi-Fi searching and communication, less data is being drained from your device. So, by disabling these functions, your phone will charge faster. This hack comes in handy especially when you’re pressed for time.
Hack # 2: Send Spam Calls to Voicemail
We all receive annoying spam phone calls from time to time. Robocallers may call on unknown numbers that may resemble a friend or family member’s number. However, you can direct these pesky callers by sending them directly to your voicemail.
Settings > Phone > Switch on Silence Unknown Callers.
Hack # 3: Pair 2 Sets of Airpods to 1 iPhone
When you listen to your favorite tunes on your airpods, it’s only natural that you’d want to share it with someone else. If your friend has his or her own set of airpods, then you can both pair your airpods to the same iPhone! With this awesome feature, you can listen to the same song without having to share one of your pods.
Just connect your airports to your iPhone > Tap the Airplay icon in the Control Center
> Share Audio > Hold your friend’s airpods near your iPhone device > When your friend’s airpods appear on the screen > Tap Share Audio!
Hack # 4: Customize Your “Do Not Disturb”
Sometimes, we need a few more minutes, or even hours of undisturbed rest. This is where the “do not disturb” settings on your iPhone help tremendously. Now, you can customize your “do not disturb” settings so that you can only receive phone calls from those that you’re closest to, whether it’s your parents, husband or wife, son or daughter, or best friend.
You can set certain ringtones or vibrations whenever these specific people call or text you when your “do not disturb” mode is enabled.
Find the desired person in your contacts list > Tap Edit > Click either Text Tone or Ringtone > Go to Emergency Bypass
Hack # 5: Optimized Battery Charging
Apple’s “Optimized Battery Charging” feature was introduced with the debut of iOS 13. This feature reduces the regular wear-and-tear that you put on your phone after continued use. The purpose of this feature is to provide you with full battery life after you’ve powered up your phone with a full charge.
The Optimized Battery Charging setting is turned on by default when you update to iOS 13.
To turn it off, simply go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health > Optimized Battery Charging.
