With Samsung’s event a little more than a week away, August 13th, 2015 will be the day The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is officially shown to the public.
Internet Rumors Are swirling on how they completely redid the Phablet Smartphone from the ground up.
A Little History on the Samsung Galaxy Note Series
The first-gen Galaxy Note Smartphone shocked a lot of tech pundits upon it’s release, leaving lots of puzzling questions like,
“WTF is Wrong With Samsung?”
Apple fanatics especially took to the internet in droves, cracking jokes on Samsung’s latest blunder. Fast forward some years ahead from 2011, and it seems the South Korean company saw the writing on the wall, in what the public desired. The Galaxy Note series has become one of the most influential handsets in the history of the smartphone. Simply cast a cursory glance across the mobile market right now, and you’ll see a large number of handsets with large display panels. Now everybody is offering the phablet principle a go, with the typical flagship standard size becoming 5in or so, across all mobile device companies.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone Series has done quite well since it’s inception, and even iPhone users stopped making fun of it. Instead iFeens started demanding a larger iDevice. This lead to Apple producing the the iPhone 6 Plus. But who started this trend? Samsung. For many techies, myself included, the Galaxy Note series is by far always the best phablet out on the market. Although a number of other manufacturers have made a Huge Push to dominate the “Big Phone Market,” nobody has done it as successfully as Samsung. The experience you get when you use a Galaxy Note Series Device is by far almost orgasmic… In A Nerd Way. Bottom Line, Samsung controls this sector of the mobile market. And with the release of the Galaxy Note 5, it seems like that won’t be changing anytime soon. Samsung identified the usefulness of old-school PDA gadgets, and that there was a “Nerd Market” for big oversized Smartphones. It combined both together and the result was the phable known as “The Note.” Every single Note handset release since then has wisely continued to expand on this desire in the market. Galaxy Note Owners thumb their noses up at smaller smartphones… You have something with a Galaxy Note phablet that non-Note users just don’t have.
Fast Forward To Present Day Alphabet Usage
The current launch of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge has completely flipped the script for Samsung. While the Galaxy s5 didn’t do much in terms of “Wow-ing” the public, (Myself included) the S6 and the S6 Edge have been home runs this year. The aesthetically pleasing new design, which features premium metal, glass, and a 1.5 ghz processor was all elegantly put together. The S6 was a precursor to what’s coming in the new Galaxy Note 5. There is definitely reason to be excited about this new release. Now I don’t know much about the new Note 5 except that rumors are stating that it DOES NOT have a removable battery, nor does it have an SD Card slot. These 2 right here are heartbreakers for me. The stubborn part of me is considering sticking with my Galaxy Note 4. I have 3 extra batteries, a portable charger, and 5 sd cards for it. Don’t want to give that up. I’m torn right now. Ugh. Tech Junkie Extraordinaire and Serial Leak Specialist “Evan Blass” released a picture 4 days ago of what seems to be a Galaxy Note 5 next to a Note Edge 6.
